will match up to $80 per cabin an 8-day cruise, for a combined $200 contribution
($120 from the markup and $80 from eCRUISES.com's match). That's $200 per cabin
that your group raises! With 20 staterooms the total is $4,000. 50 staterooms
raise $10,000!
4. Free Stateroom Opportunity
Groups can earn one free stateroom for every 16 staterooms sold. The dollar value
of the free stateroom depends on the inventory sold. But whatever value a free
stateroom may have, it can be used to raise even more money. For
instance, using the 8-day cruise example from above, your group would earn 3 free
staterooms for every 48 paid cabins. At an average value of $800 per person, based
on double occupancy, the group would earn an additional $4,800! ($800 x 2 per
cabin x 3 staterooms = $4,800.) This dollar amount can be contributed to the organization. 5.
We Can Help Market Your Cruise
Provide you with access to an entire library of marketing collateral materials
including custom made flyers and brochures. Using the materials to promote the
group's fundraising cruise, will make it more successful. Near
the end of the fundraising campaign, if the group earns one or more free staterooms,
additional funds can be raised through raffle ticket sales of the free stateroom(s).
But remember: Only do this after you are sure you have enough full payments to
earn the free stateroom(s) to be raffled.

FUNDRAISING
the EASY and SUCCESSFUL WAY
A fundraising cruise has instant appeal to nearly any group because it provides
an exciting vacation and a great money-maker for the organization.
1.
Make Fundraising Easy It is easy to raise money with a cruise. First,
simply choose a fabulous cruise to offer as a fundraiser. The price of each stateroom
is marked up over your special cost. The group promotes the cruise. Then
each time a stateroom is sold, the amount of the markup is a donation to the group.
For instance, the markup might be $60 for a 7-day cruise. So the group keeps $60
for each stateroom that is sold. 2.
Non-Profit Groups
Fundraising cruises can benefit many types of groups. But non-profit charitable
organizations will find fund raising cruises especially appealing. Why? Because
we can offer non-profit groups greater financial incentives. Examples of non-profit
organizations include: Civic Groups
Medical Research Groups Churches or Ministries
Youth Organizations
Other Charitable Organizations 3.
Matching Fund Plan
We can help non-profit groups raise even more money with our matching fund plan.
It works like this: With
bookings of 8 staterooms or more, we will match (donate) $10 per cabin, per day
on your group's fundraising efforts. That means we'll match on a 3-day cruise
$30 per cabin, $40 per cabin on a 4-day cruise, $70 per cabin on a 7-day cruise,
etc. Example: The cost of an 8-day cruise
is $1600 per cabin. Your non-profit organization
marks up the cost of the cruise
by $120 (this is the participant's donation).
You promote the cruise to your group at a cost of $1720. |
