Grand Princess made headlines when she debuted as the largest cruise
ship afloat in 1998. She's still attracting attention with her dramatic
look and wide range of amenities. The ship is instantly set apart
by the disco/observation lounge suspended from the rear of the ship
--150 feet above water -- accessible only by a glass-enclosed, moving
"skywalk."
Inside, the ship features the first wedding chapel at sea
and the cruise industry's only wedding program in which couples
can be married at sea by the captain. Passengers will find a virtual
reality center, swim-against-the-current pool, a nine-hole putting
course, and numerous dining options, including a Southwestern restaurant,
Sabatini's trattoria for an authentic Italian seafood feast, and
a 24-hour buffet/bistro restaurant.
