MAKING RESERVATIONS

There are five different ways to book a cruise with eCruises.com. With each method the price, benefits, and service are the same.

1 - Over the Phone
When you contact our Call Center by phone, identify yourself and ask to speak to a broker regarding a new reservation.
When connected to a broker, mention if you are trying to find the right sailing or if you know the sailing and are ready to book.
If you have a competitor's quote, tell the broker up front that you are shopping for the best price.
You can request an e-mail copy of the quote provided by your broker. The quote will have all the details about the cruise and when the quote expires.
When ready to book, we will need the legal first and last name of each guest with date-of-birth, the mailing address and phone number for every credit card holder, and e-mail address if available. If you have past passenger numbers with the cruise line, those are helpful, as well.
Within 24 hours of booking, an e-mail confirmation and paper invoice will be sent to you. Review these documents carefully and call immediately if any adjustments are required to avoid potential change fees.
Cruise tickets are mostly sent by e-mail two to three weeks prior to sailing.

2 - Online
24/7 you can book reservations on our website.
After booking, should any changes by required, phone our Call Center and ask for Customer Service regarding an online booking.
Within 48 hours of booking, an e-mail confirmation and paper invoice will be sent to you. Review these documents carefully and call immediately if any adjustments are required to avoid potential change fees.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

eCruises.com wants our valued clients to have the most worry-free cruise vacation possible.

That's why eCruises.com provides FREE TRAVEL INSURANCE PROTECTION for every passenger sailing.

When making the initial booking, you have the option of paying for the insurance premium to protect your cruise vacation investment. (All pre-existing medical conditions, as defined by the insurance provider, will be covered). eCruises.com then reduces your final payment for the cruise by the amount of the insurance premium. YOU ONLY PAY THE COST OF THE CRUISE AND GET THE INSURANCE AS A BONUS.

At your expense, you can also insure any/all additional travel components (airfare, hotels, car rental, excursions, etc...) whether purchased through eCruises.com or on your own, at the prevailing premium rate - just 5.48% with our iTravel Insured group program.

We will insure you with a major travel insurance company offering low premium costs and maximum benefits, thus minimizing your initial out-of-pocket-cost. These insurance companies provide you with full cancellation protection, plus additional insurance benefits.

Policies can be cancelled within ten days of purchase without penalty. Names cannot be substituted on policies at any time.

Take advantage of our cruise travel insurance program and get ready for a great vacation - worry-free!

PRICE GUARANTEE

Most cruise lines no longer permit discounting of their established rates. Every cruise seller is contractually obligated to sell at the cruise line's current price.

We offer free travel insurance against any cruise line price that you are entitled to; based on your age, state of residence, and past history with the cruise line. There may be other special promotional rates, as well. The cruise lines do not charge booking fees - neither does eCruises.com. Many of our competitors do charge various booking fees.

If a competitor has a lower price than what the cruise line is offering, get it in writing. We will contact the line on your behalf to allow us to match the price and still give you the free insurance and no booking fees.

When comparing prices, make sure to ask about insurance and booking fees in addition to the cruise fare, port charges and taxes.

That is our lowest price guarantee, in writing.

CANCELLATION POLICY AND PROCEDURE

eCruises.com understands that occasionally reservations need to be cancelled for a variety of reasons. We offer travel insurance to all guests to minimize the financial impact when a cancellation is necessary.

We require written authorization from the client to begin the cancellation process. A $50 per person administrative fee is charged. Once the cancellation fee has been processed the reservation can be cancelled with the cruise line. Call our Customer Service Department to request an "Authorization to Cancel" form, which can be sent by e-mail, fax, or first class mail.

If the cancellation occurs before the final payment date, the cruise line refunds the deposit back to the credit card that was used to make the deposit. If the deposit was paid for by check or cash, the cruise line will refund eCruises.com and upon receipt of the refund, we send a check to the client. Cruise line credit card refunds take anywhere from two weeks to two months to appear on your credit card statement. If you took advantage of the Free travel insurance promotion, the insurance coverage can be used to get a reimbursement for eCruises.com's administrative fees - when the reason for cancellation is covered by the insurance policy. If the reason for cancellation is NOT covered by the insurance policy, you can apply the policy to another vacation package. The new vacation does not have to be a cruise and does not have to be booked by eCruises.com, but needs to be booked within thirty days of canceling the initial reservation.

When canceling after making your final payment, in addition to eCruises.com's administrative fees, the cruise line will impose their penalties - which increase as you get closer to the sailing date. The cruise line cancellation penalties will be reimbursed by the insurance carrier (along with our fees) if the reason for cancellation is covered by the policy.

REFARE POLICY

eCruises.com assures our clients that they will get the lowest price available that they are entitled to, based on when they book and if the cruise line adjusts the price in a way that the original price can be lowered.

In general, should the cruise line lower your price after booking and before the final payment is due at eCruises.com, your fare can be adjusted. There are certain reduced rate promotions offered by cruise lines that are only applicable to new reservations. When you see a lower price, ask our Customer Service Department to check if your reservation can be adjusted.

While we are delighted to secure lower rates for our valued clients, we ask for their understanding that when prices go down, so does our commission. The extra work to get the cruise line to adjust the price, update our database, send out new invoices and adjust insurance policies, if necessary, is costly. There will be a 20% (of the refare value, up to $50pp) administrative fee imposed to cover these additional administrative costs, whenever the reservation is re-fared at the client's request.
